I try to buy foods that do not have food colorings. I read labels and seek out the Red #40 or yellow or blue's. There are times, especially around the holidays when the kids are exposed to food colorings which makes it hard to avoid. Every time they eat something with colorings I know that they have because it is evident in there poop. This drives me crazy! I will have more postings about food colorings later and will start a series about the chemicals in our foods in the newsletter in September.
