Fall Garden

We did it! We finally got our garden planted. After our successful harvest of 3 watermelons from our late spring/summer garden we were encouraged to try in the fall.

This Fall we decided to plant: Pumpkins, carrots and squash.

The kids were excited to get dirty again! We bought a new bag of dirt, pulled out our gardening tools and went to work. I had hoped to plant eggplant but we could not find any eggplant seeds. I will have to do more research to see why we could not find those seeds. We weeded, spread the dirt, then sowed our seeds.

Fingers crossed we will have pumpkins (probably in November) and carrots and squash in October.
