Sometimes we can get wrapped up in the day to day routine that we forget that there are children in this world and this nation that go to school without eating. Sometimes for many days.
Our focus at ABCD Eat Right has been to educate parents and schools about childhood obesity and other food related issues like childhood hunger.
If you are looking for a good charity to donate too for the holidays, and throughout the year, consider donating to a local food pantry or help end hunger program. Some possible programs to consider are: No Kid Hungry and Feed the Children.
