Sum it up in six sentences
That morning I was making breakfast for our four year old son. Jackson looked at me and said "Mom, why don't you ever drink milk?" I told him I did but only in my coffee and occasionally with cookies. He looked at me with his big brown eyes and said "well mom milk is good for you!". I didn't want to explain to him that I could not tolerate milk because I wanted him to still drink cow, soy or almond milk. I was amazed that this young mind was really observing what I ate and then I knew that kids really are watching what we, the parents, are consuming and we must be better nutrition role models.
