Kids in the Kitchen Contest...Which young chef won?

The Kids in the Kitchen contest was a blast. Many participants posted pictures on ABCD Eat Right's Facebook page. The judging panel chose 2 of their favorites based on different criteria.
We are excited to announce that Luke Green came in first with his Green Goddess recipe and Mason Partak came in a close second with his stuffed chicken breast! So creative and amazing to see these guys in the kitchen stirring things up.

Photo: Tonight we made a green goddess yogurt sauce to go with our fish. He chose herbs from the garden, added garlic & lemon to the mix, finally some greek yogurt. I think the food processor was the most fun for Luke!               Photo: 9 year old Mason made stuffed chicken breasts for dinner for our family! He stuffed them with sun dried tomatoes, fresh basil, and mozzarella cheese. #KidsInTheKitchenContest

Luke won the awesome cookbook from Weelicious and some fun kid friendly cooking tools. If you do not know the Weelicious cookbooks or Facebook page I highly recommend them! "Like" their page and order their cookbooks. They will fill your home with great ideas for foods that kids will really eat!

Mason won a Take Out Recipes box full of kid friendly recipes to get kids cooking in the kitchen, as well as kid friendly cooking tools.
Thank you so much to everyone who participated in ABCD Eat Right's Kids in the Kitchen Contest. Stay tuned for the next contest and keep cooking kids!
